On Thursday February 1, 2018, members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit went to a residence on County Road 451 in Dutton, AL. to attempt to serve an outstanding felony arrests warrant.  Upon arriving at the residence a vehicle pulled into the driveway and after recognizing that Narcotics Unit, rapidly left.  A brief chase ensued after which the vehicle stopped on County Road 451. The occupants were identified as Christopher Michael Cooper age 28 of Section, AL. and Jeremy Christopher Roberts age 18 of Section, AL.  During a search of the vehicle Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia were located and seized.  Both subjects were arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances-Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana 2nd degree, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Bond has not been set at the time of this release on the felony charges and both remain in the Jackson County Jail.
