On Thursday February 22, 2018, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies David Poole and Logan Kenimer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Hwy 72 in Scottsboro, Alabama for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Deputies arrested the driver, Beatrice HILLIS age 36 of Grant, AL. for DUI and conducted an inventory search of her vehicle. During this search Deputies located Marijuana, Cocaine, Xanax, Oxycodone and $1,591.00 US Currency. HILLIS was transported to the Jackson County Jail where additional amounts of drugs were located on HILLIS’ person. HILLIS was charged with:

HILLIS remains in the Jackson County Jail on $38,800.00 bond.
