On April 5, 2018, members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, Alabama State Drug Task Force and Jackson County Patrol Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Alabama Hwy 79 in Skyline, AL.   As a result of this search, 13 marijuana plants, approximately 3 ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, grow equipment and two types of illegal prescription medications were located. Arrested in connection with this investigation was Joshua Allen WRIGHT age 32 of Scottsboro, AL. who was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and two counts of Illegal Possession of Prescription Medications.  WRIGHT was booked into the Jackson County Jail and later released on $1,900 bond.
