On the morning of June 27, 2018, The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a theft of fishing rod and reels from a pickup truck on Langston Road. Deputies and Investigators responded and located the suspect vehicle at a boat launch on Langston Road and investigated the complaint. As a result of this investigation, the rod and reels were recovered along with drug paraphernalia and three persons (Jeremy Christopher ROBERTS age 19 of Section, AL, Marlene CUNNINGHAM age 37 of Flat Rock, AL. and Andrew Lee GONZALEZ age 20 of Rainsville, AL) were arrested. All three were transported to the Jackson County Jail, where approximately 44 grams of Methamphetamine was located on the person of ROBERTS. All three remain in custody and specific charges are listed below with bond amounts. ROBERTS- Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine), Promoting Prison Contraband, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Theft of Property 4th degree, and Breaking and Entering a vehicle. Bond was set at $40,600. CUNNINGHAM- Theft of Property 4th degree, and Breaking and Entering a vehicle. Bond was set at $2,800. GONZALEZ- Theft of Property 4th degree, Breaking Entering a vehicle and Failure to Pay on a charge of Fishing Without a License. Bond was set at $2,932. |
