07/16/2018 Bridgeport Search Leads to 2 Arrests |

On July 14, 2018, Officers with the Bridgeport Police Department responded to a suspicious activity call on 11th St. in Bridgeport, AL. Once there, the Officers detected the smell of methamphetamine and contacted the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit for assistance. A search warrant was obtained and executed at the residence, where Officers and Deputies located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Arrested in connection with this investigation were: Jimmy Lynn WILSON, age 57, of Bridgeport, AL. who was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Cheryl Gwen TERRY, age 53, of Bridgeport, AL. who was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were later released on $5.300 Bond. More arrests in this case are expected in this case. |
