02/14/2019 Three arrested on drug charges in Scottsboro/Jackson Co. |

On February 13, 2019, members of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and the Scottsboro Police Department went to the 2900 Block of South Broad Street in Scottsboro, AL. to attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant. While at the apartment, Deputies/Officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the apartment. A search warrant was obtained and executed at which time methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located and seized. A juvenile was present at the apartment and DHR was contacted and responded to care for the juvenile. Three persons were arrested and charged as follows: Anna Grogan BROWN, age 44 of Scottsboro, AL. who was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana 2nd degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. BROWN remains in the Jackson County Jail. Bond not yet set. Christopher Ray GENTLE, age 42 of Scottsboro, AL. who was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana 2nd degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. GENTLE remains in the Jackson County Jail. Bond not yet set. James Wyatt EAKIN, age 22 of Scottsboro, AL. who was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana 2nd degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. EAKIN remains in the Jackson County Jail. Bond not yet set . |
