On Tuesday March 5, 2019 at approximately 7:45 PM, the Woodville Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Robbery at the Dollar General Store on Highway 35 in Woodville, Alabama. Upon arrival, Officer’s/Deputies learned that a white male adult wearing a tan Carhartt jacket and matching bibs entered the front door of the store with his face covered by burlap material. The suspect then approached the two employees, showed at least one employee a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undetermined amount of cash and other store items before departing the store. The suspect was observed leaving the parking lot, heading toward Woodville, riding a bicycle. The suspect is believed to be approximately 6 feet tall with a thin athletic build. The suspect should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.
