On July 27,2015, members of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit, Patrol Deputies and Section Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Margaret Ave in Section, AL.  During the search, approximately 10.4 grams of Methamphetamine (ICE), Approximately 7.3 Ounces of Marijuana, Prescription Medications, Tramadol, and Drug Paraphernalia were located and seized.  Arrested in connection with this month long investigation were:

MARTIN, Vernon Nye "Blackie" age 44 of Section, AL who was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances- Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substances-Tramadol, Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  A Hold has been placed on MARTIN for a possible bond revocation.  

GUNTER, Lori Buttram age 40 of Rainsville, AL. who was charge with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  GUNTER has been released on a $500 bond.  

DUNCAN, Rita DDawn age 41 of Woodville, AL. who was charged with Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  DUNCAN was also booked on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear on a Possession of Marijuana Charge.  Bond has not yet been set.
