On Sunday October 25, 2020, members of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division received information as to the possible whereabouts of Kenneth Joe BISHOP, who has been evading arrest for several months. BISHOP had numerous outstanding arrest warrants stemming from a July 17, 2020 vehicle pursuit where BISHOP assaulted a Deputy in an effort to escape being arrested. During this incident BISHOP was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia which were recovered by Deputies. Additionally BISHOP assaulted a female subject on October 24, 2020 in the Flat Rock, Alabama area. BISHOP is also a suspect in another assault involving a female in Flat Rock, Alabama which was reported on October 24, 2020. Based on this information, Deputies responded to a residence on County Road 497 in Flat Rock, Alabama where a stolen vehicle was located which was believed to be in the possession of BISHOP. The persons at the residence denied that BISHOP was in the residence and initially denied entry to the residence to search for BISHOP. After Investigators were contacted and were in the process of obtaining a search warrant, permission was granted to search for BISHOP. During the search, BISHOP was located, hiding in the attic of the residence, and was arrested without further incident.

BISHOP, age 32 of Flat Rock, Alabama was charged with Assault 3rd, Assault 2nd, Escape 3rd, Escape 1st, Receiving Stolen Property 1st, Possession of Controlled Substances-Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Trespass, Attempting to Elude, Reckless Endangerment, Failure to Appear in Court and a Probation Revocation stemming from a Trafficking in Methamphetamine Charge. Bond has not yet been set on all the charges.

Jess ALLISON, William HAGGARD and Sheena HAGGARD were all present at the residence and were charged with the charges listed below.

Jess ALLISON, age 19 of Flat Rock, Alabama was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond not yet set.

William Haggard, age 23 of Higdon, Alabama was charged with Obstruction of Justice. Bond not yet set.

Sheena HAGGARD, age 24 of Flat Rock, Alabama was charged with Obstruction of Justice. Bond not yet set.
