08/04/2015 JCSO Marijuana Seizure and Arrest
On August 3, 2015, members of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit located several marijuana plants growing at an address on County Road 604 in the Hollytree Community. Based on this observation, a search warrant was executed on the residence where additional marijuana was located and seized. Arrested in connection with this investigation was Harold Wayne POSEY age 67 of Hollytree, who was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree. POSEY was transported to the Jackson County Jail where he remain on a $500 bond.
