08/06/2015 JCSO Meth Lab Seizure/Arrest in Dutton
On August 5, 2015, members of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and Patrol Deputies responded to a complaint of a possible methamphetamine lab at a residence on County Road 18 in Dutton, AL. While at the residence, a Methamphetamine Lab, Methamphetamine, Unprescribed Prescription Medications and Drug Paraphernalia were located and seized. Bobby Joe HASTINGS was arrested in connection with this investigation and charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Controlled Substances 1st Degree-Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances-Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs. HASTINGS remains in the Jackson County Jail pending bond being set. A small child was present at the residence and DHR was contacted to take custody of the child.
