08/06/2015 JCSO Lab Seizure/Arrests in Woodville |

On August 5, 2015, Deputies of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence on County Road 8 in Woodville, Al. to for a welfare check on a a female who was allegedly involved in a Domestic Dispute with her boyfriend. Upon arrival Deputies spoke with both parties involved who claimed that they had a verbal argument and that they did not wish to make a report. During the conversation with the parties, Deputies observed a small amount of Marijuana and an active "One Pot" Meth lab in the residence. A search warrant was obtained and during a further search, Chemicals and Equipment used to Manufacture Methamphetamine, finished Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Un-Prescribed Prescription Medications, Drug Paraphernalia and numerous weapons including a short barreled shotgun were located and seized. Arrested in connection with this investigation was Chadwick Lee WILSON age 43 of Woodville, AL. who was charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Controlled Substances-Meth, Possession of Meth, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Illegal Possession of Prescription Medications, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a short barreled shotgun. Chadwick WILSON was transferred to the Jackson County Jail where he remains pending bond being set. During the search of the residence, Arvel Lee WILSON (Father) and Jeremy WILSON (Brother) arrived and demanded to come inside the residence to speak with Chadwick WILSON. Deputies advised that they could not come inside and could not speak to Chadwick WILSON until the search was completed. Upon hearing this both continued to demand entry and were asked and then ordered to leave the premises. Again both refused and Jeremy WILSON became disorderly. Jeremy WILSON then resisted arrest and was physically restrained. Jeremy WILSON age 41 of Woodville, AL. was charged with Obstructing a Governmental Operation, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. Arvel WILSON age 63 of Woodville, AL. was charged with Obstructing a Governmental Operation. Both were transported to the Jackson County Jail and later released on bond. This investigation is continuing and more arrest are possible.
