JCSO Arrest of Kenny Bryant
On Saturday October 24, 2015, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office arrested Kenny Ledale BRYANT in connection with an early morning incident involving BRYANT, shooting into an occupied vehicle. Based on an investigation into this incident, four juveniles were taken to a Macedonia address on County Road 48, by a parent, to "roll a yard”. As some of the juveniles were in the process of “rolling the yard” the owner of the residence approached them at which time the juveniles ran back to the vehicle and sped off. BRYANT who was a neighbor of the “yard rolling” incident victim attempted to stop the vehicle and fired shots, some of which struck the vehicle. A second neighbor then pursued the vehicle from the scene to Scottsboro where Scottsboro Police Department Officers stopped both vehicles.
BRYANT was charged with Shooting into an occupied vehicle and was placed in the Jackson County Jail. BRYANT was later released on $10,000 bond.
