02/12/2016 Two Jackson County Men charged in connection with residential burglaries |

On February 11, 2016, The Jackson County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division charged two men in connection with a series of residential burglaries which have occurred over the past 6 weeks in the east side of Jackson County. A major break in this investigation came after Patrol Division Sgt. Travis Stevens recognized a vehicle involved in a Robbery at a home in the Henagar, Alabama area, which led to a traffic stop and the arrest of four persons for involvement in the aforementioned Robbery (RELEASED PREVIOUSLY). During follow up investigation into this case, Investigators were able to connect two of those person with some of the outstanding residential burglaries. Charged in connection with these burglaries were: BRANDON DARYL COOPER, age 22 of Bridgeport, AL.: Burglary 3rd ( 3 counts ), Theft 1st ( 1 count ), Theft 2nd ( 5 counts )
MICHAEL DYLAN GARRARD, age 20 of Stevenson, AL. Burglary 3rd ( 3 counts ), Theft 1st ( 1 count ), Theft 2nd ( 5 counts )
This investigation is on going and additional arrests are expected. |
