02/18/2016 Search Warrant in Section leads to Arrest and Drug Seizure
On Wednesday February 17, 2016, members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and Patrol Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Blueberry Lane in Section, AL. As a result of this search, approximately 5 grams of Methamphetamine packaged for resale, Oxycodone, Drug Paraphernalia and approximately $1,750 US Currency was seized. Arrested in connection with this investigation was Buddy Earl McCURDY age 33 of Section, AL. who was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substances-Oxycodone, Possession of Marijuana 2nd degree, and Possession Drug Paraphernalia. McCURDY remains in the Jackson County Jail and bond has been set at $9,500.00.
