In the early morning hours of Sunday February 21, 2016, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Danny Miller conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 35 in Section, AL for and expired tag and a broken taillight. The Driver Shannon Lawrence COLE age 39 of Albertville, AL. had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Jackson County for Failure to Appear in Court and was arrested for the warrant. During an Impound Inventory of the vehicle, Lt. Miller located and seized approximately 14 grams of Methamphetamine “ICE”, approximately 10 grams of Cocaine and Cocaine Base (Crack), Marijuana, Two (2) packages of Synthetic Cannabiniod (SPICE), Four (4) Xanax pills, Seven (7) Hydrocodone pills, Drug Paraphernalia and 1 suspected Counterfeit $100 bill. COLE was charged with the following violations; Possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine Possession with intent to distribute Cocaine Possession of Controlled Substances-Hydrocodone Possession of Controlled Substances-Alprazolam Possession of Marijuana 1st degree Possession of Synthetic Cannabinoid Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Failure to Pay (Warrant) COLE remains in the Jackson County Jail on $40,000 bond. |
