Sometime before midnight on May 1, 2017, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office received a call of a man lying on the road on County Road 750 in Dutton, AL.  Upon arriving at the scene Deputies located a man with obvious serious injuries lying in the roadway with Dutton Fire Department 1st Responder's  providing medical care.   Deputies learned that the man , Kyle Wayne Alldredge age 30 of Dutton and his father, Terry Wayne Carlton age 60 of Dutton had been at their residence during the evening drinking and Alldredge became belligerent.  When Carlton attempted to leave, Alldredge tried to get into Carlton's vehicle and Carlton sped off with Alldredge either holding onto the car or in front of the car.  During this incident Alldridge received serious injuries which required that he be air lifted to Erlanger Hospital.   Carlton who was in possession alcohol was arrested and charged with Illegal Possession of Alcohol.  This case is under investigation.
