Law Enforcement received information that Nathan Richard Vineyard, age 27 was a convicted sex offender and was wanted in Tennessee for failing to register as a sex offender. Vineyard was taken into custody at a residence on South Houston Street in Scottsboro, AL. on August 8, 2017. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office, US Marshals Office, and Scottsboro Police Department were involved in the investigation and arrest of Vineyard. Vineyard is required to register as a sex offender due to being convicted of Sexual Battery in Tennessee in 2012. Vineyard was charged with: Fugitive From Justice for outstanding warrant out of Roane County, Tn. for Failure to Register as Sex Offender. Additional Charges: Failure to Register as Sex Offender ( Establishing a residence without notification of law enforcement ), Failure register as sex offender ( Prohibited residence location ). Vineyard remains in the Jackson County Jail and a total bond has not yet been set. |
